Bilingual Customer Service Advisor – part-time

CARSTAR is seeking a part-time Bilingual Customer Service Advisor to work in the growing Call Centre at our Corporate Head office in Hamilton, Ontario.  This position involves inbound and outbound calls with CARSTAR customers, franchisees and Insurance Partners across Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as an expeditor of insurance claims/issues and handle all incoming and outgoing calls
  • Work closely with the Call Centre Team to implement project initiatives
  • Assist in the creation, development and implementation of processes
  • Ensure the proper processes and task deadlines (for daily and weekly tasks) are being followed for all projects, as well as any other projects that are assigned
  • Properly manage incoming information from clients and document the information within our internal data systems.
  • Check emails and voice messages and respond in a timely manner
  • Manage and coordinate appointment requests with our stores.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bilingual (English/French)
Experience in a Call Centre environment or related field is preferred
Ability to apply good judgment in quick decision making
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
Works well under pressure
Flexible/adaptable to constant change
Strong tact and diplomacy; ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Experience in the automotive industry and asset, (but not required).
